No one can forget the ‘Joker’ played by Heath Ledger in the ‘The Dark Night’. Heath Ledger also got an Oscar for his performance as the ‘Joker’. Ledger’s depiction of the Joker was widely championed as one of the greatest villains in cinema history.
Ten years has passed on and The Dark Knight is still the benchmark movie, it was the first Superhero movie that had a massive effect on audiences from all over the world.
“The Dark Night” was very dark movie, Christopher Nolan was forced to trim certain scenes of the film to maintain its PG-13 rating.
We will never see another legendary movie like The Dark Night, we can only watch it again and again and cherish its facts and stories.
IGN recently interviewed Oscar-winning makeup artist John Caglione, Jr. (Dick Tracy), who worked intimately with Ledger and director Christopher Nolan to create the character’s look.
